Getting Started / Signing In
How do I sign in to WorkSafe Online?
Use the email address and password issued to you for WorkSafe Online. Enter your credentials on the sign-in page and click Continue.
Who gets access to WorkSafe Online?
Access is issued by the company. If you have not been given an account and need access, contact HR or your supervisor.
How secure is my personal information?
Access to WorkSafe Online is controlled by account permissions. Standard users only have access to their own assigned items and submissions. Administrator-level access is more restricted and includes additional security controls.
Why am I being asked for a verification code?
Multi-factor authentication (MFA) is used for administrator-level or otherwise privileged access. Standard user accounts normally sign in with email and password only.
What should I do if I forgot my password?
Use the Forgot password? option on the sign-in page if it is available to you. If you still cannot access your account, contact support at hr@bci-sk.ca.
Payroll
What do I need to complete in Payroll?
Your payroll section may include required forms, personal information, and document submissions needed for payroll setup or updates. Complete each assigned item before submitting.
How do I upload payroll documents?
If a payroll item requires documents, select the file requested on the form, upload it, and then complete the submission step on the page. Make sure the file has finished attaching before submitting.
Why can’t I submit my payroll form?
Check that all required fields are complete, any required file has been attached successfully, and any required acknowledgement or signature section has been completed. If the page still will not submit, contact support and include the form name you were working on.
HR Policies
Do I have to watch the full policy video?
If a video is provided, it is recommended as part of the training. Some items may require full viewing before you can complete the quiz or acknowledgement, while others are document review or form-based and do not include a video.
Why is my policy not showing as complete?
A policy may not show as complete until all required steps have been finished. That can include full video viewing, any required knowledge check, and the final acknowledgement or sign-off step.
Do I have to complete policies in order?
No. Policies may be completed in any order. However, acknowledgements should not be submitted until the policy itself has been reviewed and understood.
Safety Training
Do I have to watch the full training video?

What happens if I do not pass the quiz?
If a quiz has a required passing mark, you may need to review the material and try again before the module can be completed.
Why is my training not marked complete?
Completion may depend on several steps being finished, including viewing requirements, passing the quiz where required, and completing the final acknowledgement or sign-off.
Technical Issues
What browser should I use?
Use a current version of Chrome, Edge, or Safari for the best experience. Older browsers may not display videos, forms, or uploads correctly.
Do I need audio turned on?
Yes, if the module includes spoken content. Make sure your device volume is on and your browser is allowed to play audio.
Will my progress save if I leave and come back?
In most cases, your progress is saved as you work. If you need to leave and return later, sign back in and continue from your assigned items.
